i have been so busy for the past few weeks, till i didn't have the time to come online and blog. so.. here we go.

joint sharing session

the previous week was my last week in ELDC, which also means that last week was my week being the admin rep. after making myself run up and down for the past few weeks running errands from supervisors, collecting things from supervisors, i'm not burdened by any of such duties anymore.

joint sharing session was held for all the stopovers in tep, and each stopover had to send a team to give a presentation of their own stopover. being in the jss admin rep in charge, there were many things i had to handle. i had to do up the minutes report while the jss is going on, print the attendance sheet, do up the presentation for the team that is representing my stopover blah blah. i wouldn't say that it was a totally good experience doing all these work. there were some confusion in between as to which teams should be presenting during jss, as there was only supposedly to be one team representing that stopover, but i received 3 different presentations. i can never say enough of this. anyway, thanks to xiang yao and lam's help in sorting these matters out for me! (:

our presenters for our stopover were jj, serene and ms wong. when they came out and present, all of us were shouting, "miss wong! miss wong!!" haha. it was so funny. i was totally worn out for the day, but i met up with greasy to celebrate co's bday at kbox.

co's bday

after jss, i immediately rushed down to lot 1 kbox to meet up with leen and ling. after jes and jas arrived, we started decorating the room with balloons, and we started hiding the presents we bought all over the room. all of us wrote our wishes on the bday card, and placed it in the paper holder. although it was pretty obvious that the card can be seen once u enter the room, we knew that co wouldn't be able to find the card there because she is very blur. hahaha.. while lazying around waiting for co to arrive, we took these pictures..

next, we received a call from co, saying that she has arrived. we lit up the candles, and prepared to welcome the bday girl in. and SURPRISE!!

after that, we made co to pick up the candle placer from the cake using her mouth. haha.. we had a good time laughing and we took down the video. next, we made co sing one song before she can unwrap three pieces of wrapping paper from the present. when she unwrap the first layer, she got a shock cuz we printed out her ugliest photo. hehe. after she had unwrapped all 18 layers (she turns 18 this year), she was touched that we bought her a discman for her 18th bday, but when she opened up the box, all that were inside were rough paper. hahaha. but we still continued singing and co would have to search for the presents later hidden all over the whole room.

we had a good time laughing at co when she started to look for presents all over the room. she's so blur! haha.. we hid the mug in the NTUC bag, bra set in seiyu bag chucked at one corner of the room, the bag which is placed beside ling which ling claimed to be her bag, the card in the paper holder, earrings, and other items which i have forgotten. opps. haa.

we sang till we were very high, esp when we sang cao meng's songs, such as ai bu pa and other song, which i have forgotten. we were jumping on the sofa, and danced as if there is no tml.

stopover switchover

on monday, students in km/eldc had to do a switchover. therefore, now i'm a km student. fuan gave us the choice to choose our own group members, and now my group members are kelly (not my sis >.<), miss wong and chloe. well, i can say we are the noisiest team around in km, excluding the guys. haha. we would laugh like siao everyday, and make fun at each other. we had to submit a summary report, which is due today. in the summary report, we had to state what we did, what are our achievements and learning experience, give suggestions to improve the stopover blah. although i rushed out the report within two days, i pesonally feel that its one of the better reports i have submitted so far ever since year 1. for the first day i was transferred over to km, i tot i could put aside my duties as admin for the rest of the term, although i expected the supervisors to want us teach the newly appointed student admin of the duties they have to do. i was sent running around between the two stopovers for the whole morning, without given the chance to sit down at all. after lunch, we were given the chance to choose the projects we have to do over the next seven weeks. in the end, we selected the immersion trip programme. fuan called me in the morning, and told me that i had to take photos for joint sharing session 3 and 4. together with chloe and miss wong, we went down to take the photos, and at the same time, we got to hear what are the other stopovers presenting. when we went back up to fuan's office to return the camera, he asked if i wanted to be KM photographer. i was like.. ha. me?

tues

rushed through my summary report last night. then instead of doing my project, i ended up laughing for the whole night because of the online conversation i had with ling, leen and jes. ling started the conversation by using rap lyrics, and it became so infectious that all of us started following her.

thurs

was sent on photo taking mission again, together with kelly and gilbert. man.. we were dead tired when we got back to our stopover. miss wong accompanied us down, and we started chasing her around the whole atrium as if like she's a 3 year old kid. she would go round popping balloons tied at the stage, and she would start walking in the areas where we would start taking the photo, and disrupt the process. haha.. we took photos of xiangyao, hanquan and alex at the fair, and kelly, me and miss wong started doing some "creative work". we kept laughing until they day ended.

fri

going out with kelly to raffles city today for to do some shopping. it was a boring day as usual.. slacking around, going down for breakfast, watch tv in fast food canteen, walk around the road show at atrium, go back to stopover and sleep, then out for lunch, stay in the room and do nothing, out for teabreak, and its time to go back after that. this is what i have been doing for the past three days.

boring, isn't it? its so damn slack.

the lecturer whom we are supposed to interview is so difficult to contact. we have been calling her for the past few days, and she hasn't answered any of her calls. blah.
