back to classical modules this semester.currently, i'm still adjusting back to classical life. still feeling kinda awkward. dunno why.
lessons were quite alright, but i couldn't help yawning throughout the whole lecture of ICT applications today. totally boring.
french lessons this morning were kinda messy. he would suddenly go thru the exercises so quickly that all of us had to start scribbling like mad, and couldn't catch what he is saying at times.
oh well. nvm.
i'm giving myself time to adjust myself back to this life.
last day in EMRS!
team 4 organised a mini party at north canteen for us, and shortly all of us went back to our rooms.
mr chong called for a briefing at 1.30, and we had no idea what it was all about in the first place. when we got there, i found it weird that this is the first time i see him wearing a tie! hahaha. only then all of us realised that it was the EMRS graduation ceremony.
the whole ceremony was very funny, as we started teasing one another when mr chong mentioned about best friends becoming couples. haha! it was also very touching to hear what the top 10 EMRS students had to say at the end of the ceremony.
throughout these 6 weeks in EMRS, or 5 weeks to be exact, many things weren't going very smoothly for our team in the beginning, although in the end we had to do other minor projects, and assist all the other teams in their events, but the whole experience was very enriching.
thank you all who were from EMRS, for giving me pleasant memories from this stopover. its been glad to know everybody, and also having the chance to work with almost everyone in EMRS. especially to my teammates.. devi, lisa, yixiang, raymond, maoyuan and mingrui. its been a great pleasure working with you guys. thanks for guiding me along the way when i first came to EMRS on the second week, without knowing what i had to do. also, i have to thank mr chong and all the other supervisors who have been guiding our team along the way, or else our team would be totally lost after the disapproval of the workshop.
let's talk about KM/ELDC chalet!
yay! thanks for all the company.. i enjoyed myself although i stayed for one night. (:
endless laughter, gossips and drama.
headed down straight to chalet with kelly, serene and meihua by cab. it turned out to be that the guys only booked one room at costa sands, and the place was super damn packed!
only two beds to sleep. twenty people in one room. how to sleep?! haha.
we reached before the guys from MSC joined us. we, being the evil girls locked them outside the house for five minutes. whahaha! the guys started playing cards, then proceed with mahjong. the rest of us got bored, therefore, kelly and i went with xiangyao, shawn and hanquan to cheers to grab some snacks. shawn and hanquan wore the cheers uniform down, and disturbed the stuff there. one of the uncle, whom was one of the staff, told them to go inside and count stock. lol.
the guys left to play scavenger hunt at about 2am, so kelly and i were the only girls left in the house, while gilbert was fast asleep in the room. we spent our time watching tv, and managed to catch about half an hour of sleep, after the guys came back from their scavenger hunt at 4am and started waking the both of us up.
on friday night itself, gilbert got all of us tricked when he pretended to be drunk, and hanquan crushed an egg on him! the whole air conditioned room reek of the raw egg smell. lol. we tested him out by asking him lots of questions, and laughed like hell. i remembered gilbert started singing the national anthem when we asked him to sing a song. hahaha.
everybody dropped dead by 7am on saturday morning. the guys had breakfast, and came back to slept till afternoon, before starting playing mahjong again. kelly and i went for breakfast after they came back, and we went to the beach to take lots of crazy shots. heh heh.
too lazy to upload photos! lol.
the bbq started at around 7.30, and the others whom were only turning up for the bbq arrived at 7 plus. the bbq was fun.. thanks to suban for helping us start the fire!
left the chalet at about 10pm. i was too tired that i slept during the whole car journey back home.
