mentally exhausted, physically shagged.preparation of OIPP is definitely alot of work.
went down to my optician at specialist's shopping centre for my eye check, as the new specs which i got from queensway made me feel giddy after wearing it for the past few days after i collected it last saturday.
the sales assistant who attended to me at queensway, gave me an inaccurate prescription. she overprescribed both my right and left eye degree, and also astigatism. when i collected my specs last saturday, the specs were super clear and bright, as i have not changed my current glasses for the past 4 years plus.
apparently, when i went back to see my optician today, only then i realised i have not changed my specs for the past 7 years. oh my god.
the optician asked me about why i could afford the time to come down in the morning, as he presumed that i had school in the morning. the conversation went like this..
optician: you got no school today? how come you have the time to come down in the morning?
before i could say anything, he went on saying..
optician: you're o level student collecting your results, right?
me: eh, no. i'm actually a poly student.
optician: wah! poly student already! no classes in the morning? or you skipped classes just to come for the checkup?
i was daydreaming away, and wasn't paying attention to what he said, and so i replied him..
me: sorry, what did you say earlier on?
optician: never mind. never mind. just treat it as i didn't say anything.
only then i realised that he asked me whether i skipped classes in the morning so as to come for his appointment for the checkup.
me: oh. i don't have classes in the morning.
after checking my eyesight, only then i realised that the specs which i got from queensway were overpowered. no wonder i felt dizzy after i put it on.

after the optical checkup, i headed to school to meet chloe to pass all the relevant documents the lecturer needed.
i was so tired after running up and down since 9am, and by the time i reached school, it was almost 3pm. while i was on the way to the office to meet the lecturer, i was so exhausted that i nearly tripped over the stairs and fell down. =
goodness, blur me.
i headed back again to orchard for my medical checkup required for OIPP, after i left school.
the counter desk staff was particularly rude and offensive in the way they spoke to me, and when i was already fully exhausted, they had to make things so difficult for me that i just left the clinic without having my checkup done.
got home about 2 hours ago, and i'm ready to doze off anytime. time for dinner!
