amazing week
This semester is ending in about a week's time. Amazing! Most of the projects have come to an end, except for the company law presentation next monday and entrepreneurship presentation's ICA4. This week has been pretty hectic. Staying up for almost the whole night just to tidy up the entrepreneurship appendix, with only 2 hours of sleep before heading for IFS tutorial at 9am. Stayed up for the whole night on Tuesday just to do the CRM presentation slides. It was worth the effort, I would say. But of cause, there's a price to pay for staying up for 2 consective nights just to rush for projects.
puffy panda black eyes. insomia. down with cold and sore throat. I even have difficulty drinking and swallowing water. How nice!
Took me one whole hour of waiting time just to see that doctor, and there's only 5 patients before me! When it was my turn, he asked me about the OIPP attachment in China, because I took medicine from him before I left for the trip. He asked if I would want to go back to work there after graduation. I told him that the trip was fulfilling, but I'm not going back there to work. And he laughed, and said "that bad ah?" Well, frankly speaking, it wasn't that bad.. but I can't adapt to their way of life and living environment after interning for 2 months.
Speaking of this, it was a really nice surprise that Linda, Yang Bo, Mary and Si Yu came to Singapore for the past week, and will be leaving tomorrow back to Kunming. It was rather unexpected, and we met up with Linda, Yang Bo yesterday in NYP, together with the second batch of students whom will be leaving for Spring City at the end of this month.
Met up with the 4e5 girls on wednesday night for dinner. Ling and I were the first ones to reach, and we thought that we are late, but the rest came even later! Most of them arrived at about 7pm, and we were discussing whether we should have our dinner at Mac or "zi char", as per our original plan. Everybody came, except for Yixiu, Huimin and Meiwen. Meiwen is so blur! She thought that we were meeting next week instead, which was why she didn't turn up on wed. Well, we headed to the hawker centre for yummy "zi char" dinner, and the gathering was humourous and lively as usual, just like in our secondary school days. However, looking back, and comparing to what we are right now, I find that all of us have changed, including myself. I wouldn't deny that, people change with time. Don't you agree? We were teasing Merissa, whether she understood what we were talking about, as we were all communicating in chinese, and Merissa spoke more of english than chinese. After dinner, we headed to the pasar malam and played with the toy trains, which the small kids were playing.
definitely meeting up again after Jiapei returns from Australia in Dec!
